Personal Lines Customer Service Representative

Do you love helping people and enjoy taking care of details?  If yes, this position may be perfect for you!  Here is a description of what you would be doing:

  • Assist clients with all service, claims & billing related questions
  • Process new policies & policy changes, providing the information to the client
  • Review each renewal against expiring and notify agent of changes.
  • Round accounts & rewrite to protect retention for the agency and overall satisfaction to the client
  • Quote new business, rewrite business and new lines of coverage for existing clients
  • Prepare applications
  • Answer phones & call clients; offer coverage reviews & suggest new costimators, updating client file in the AMS360
  • Issue coverage confirmations when downgrading or removing coverage
  • Document phone conversations in Activity Log
  • Check all renewals, endorsements, etc.​ from carrier for accuracy
  • Assist with social media campaigns
  • Attend company product meetings as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills, knowledge of AMS360 preferred
  • Dependable with an ability to accurately follow instructions
  • High School diploma
  • Ability to sit at a desk with a computer for majority of the day

The position is full time M-F 8a to 5p.  However, we may entertain part time for the perfect applicant.  We offer a competitive salary plus a generous benefit package.
